Friday morning quilters meet each Friday morning around 9 am and stay until noon or sometimes into the afternoon. There are usually members of the Quilt Guild who are happy to help novices get started with a quilting project.
The Uvalde Piecemakers Quilt Guild meets at UAAC the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
All quilters are invited to come to the meetings.

AVILA TO TEACH
QUILTING CLASS
Celebrated Quilter, Alicia Avila, will
lead a one-day workshop at the Center
on Saturday, September 13. During the class
you will machine quilt fabric to be used
to make your own carpetbag. This class
is for those already familiar with
quilting and sewing.
A sample of the bag can be seen at
UAAC. Cost of the class is $50 which
includes the pattern for the bag. A list
of supplies is available with paid
registration fee.
