WOODWORKING

The Adult Center maintains a 3600 square foot woodworking shop. The shop is well equipped and the machines are kept in good working order and properly adjusted. Our rules require that two people must be present in the shop if any equipment is used other than sanders. Our shop is supported by donations from the people that use it. We do not supply wood for projects. Typical projects from the shop are: wooden pen and pencil sets, rolling pins, furniture and specialty items. Some users also re-finish furniture in the shop. There is also a paint room with filtered air. Some of the projects from the shop may be seen at: WOOD SHOP PICTURES
